Jakson will voice the character of Garfield’s father, Vic, in the movie.

Among the many animated movie projects we can watch in the near future, one of the most interesting is Alcon Entertainment’s animated Garfield movie. Garfield, the lazy and lasagna-loving orange cat we all know very well, is being adapted for the cinema once again. This time, the voice of Garfield will be Chris Pratt.
Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove, co-founders and co-CEOs of Alcon Entertainment, announced that Samuel L. Jackson has joined Garfield. Jackson will voice Garfield’s father, Vic, in the movie. Vic is an original character created for this movie that has not appeared before.
No explanation has been given about the plot of the movie yet, but with Jackson’s inclusion in the cast, we learned that the story somehow includes Garfield’s father. The film will be directed by Mark Dindal, with a screenplay by David Reynolds. Dindal is best known for directing films such as “Emperor’s New Groove” and “Chicken Little,” while Reynolds is best known for co-wrote the Pixar classic “Finding Nemo.”
Samuel L. Jackson is one of the most recognizable figures in Hollywood. The actor has appeared in more than 150 films, including huge blockbusters, hit animations and Oscar-winning films. AvengersJurassic Park, Star Wars The prequel trilogy, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, and Django Unchained are just some of his most iconic films.
