The launch of Saints Row was quite chaotic to say the least. On this subject you can also read our test which explains the reasons. Overall, many bugs hinder the gameplay and therefore inevitably the fun. Aware of the concern, a huge update is planned for November.
A big saving update for Saints Row
Indeed, according to a new blog post Volition studio’s only priority is to solve the problems of Saints Row :
Development priority is to provide enhancements rather than new features
And this is indeed what is targeted with the famous November update since Volition has declared that it will include more 200 bug fixes and stability upgrades. This also concerns cooperation, which seems to be a major current concern for the community:
We are particularly aware of the problems that some players have encountered on Saints Row with co-op and we’re sorry these fixes took longer than expected while we thoroughly apply and test them.
Separately, we know the game doesn’t always make it clear how and when co-op is possible, so we’re working on that as well.
The studio of Saints Row claimed that the update will also include a number of gameplay improvements, including reduced repetition of certain activities, more rewarding challenges, improved vehicle handling, and overhauled haptic system functionality.
It’s always a bit sad for everyone a chaotic launch, because we suspect that the developers are trying to do their best to please the players without success. However Saints Row also seems to have great qualities such as its very fun and amusing side. So let’s hope that the November update (without a specific date for the moment) can have a positive effect for the game.
