After “Everyone standing”, discover the new comedy written and directed by Franck Dubosc, “Rumba la vie”. He plays the main role alongside Louna Espinosa, seen in particular in the series Les Bracelets rouges on TF1. Trailer.
After Everyone Standing, Franck Dubosc is on the track for Rumba la vie! The actor, screenwriter and director has just unveiled the first images of his new comedy, which will take place in the world of dance.
Franck Dubosc plays Tony, in his fifties, a school bus driver withdrawn into himself. He lives alone after having abandoned his wife and child twenty years earlier. Shaken by a heart attack, he finds the courage to face his past and enroll incognito in the dance class led by his daughter, whom he has never known, with the aim of (re) conquering her and give meaning to his life.

To play the main female role, Franck Dubosc called on Louna Espinosa, a young actress seen in particular in the series Les Bracelets rouges. She began to set foot on film sets at the age of 16. After quite intense and physical roles (Pauline’s Law, Beyond appearances, Dunk…), the public then finds her on the big screen in Des feu dans la nuit by Dominique Lienhard and Canailles by Christophe Offenstein. Rumba la vie is her first leading role in the movies.
Presented as a preview out of competition at the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Festival, which will take place from January 17 to 23, 2022, Rumba la vie will be released in cinemas on January 19, 2022.
