Last week, Capcom promised us wonders to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil saga throughout the month of October. Something promised, something due, here comes a new round of announcements.
The gate Happy BioHazard 25th Halloween recently put online to honor the quarter of a century of Capcom’s most horrific license, it was hoped that there would be plenty of surprises and announcements until October 29, and it is clear that the party is still some little hesitant to go into full swing.
The arms fall to me
Fortunately for broke and / or hesitant players, one of the announcements regarding the very recent Resident Evil Village is aimed directly at them, and rather twice than once: the two demos available during the months of april and may will be back soon for more zombies and fright in poor Ethan Winters’ skin.
As of October 27, players will therefore be able to browse the Village or the Castle on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series for 60 minutes., to be distributed as you wish over each of them. The trick is clever, but some smart kids still managed to get rid of the stopwatch in the spring. What will it be this time? Only the future will tell us.
This new spotlight should thus allow Resident Evil Village to continue its journey, and exceed the 4.5 million copies already sold last July, pending the arrival of a recently unveiled and still mysterious DLC.
As by an express fact, the editor of Osaka also announced a series of discounts concerning Resident Evil Village, but also on the seventh episode if it is purchased as a bundle. The promotion on Xbox One and Xbox Series has already started, and will run until November 5, and November 2 on PC. The PS4 and PS5 versions will be at a reduced price starting October 27.
The festivities should not end there, since two announcements are still promised for October 25 and 29. So this is being 25?
