Several new images reveal a Resident Evil 4 Remake environment that has nothing to do with the original. The mood will go up a notch.
With these new shots, Resident Evil 4 Remake shows its ambitions. A new-gen version that should follow in the footsteps of Resident Evil 2.
Resident Evil 4 Remake transcends a major game setting
We could see it through a video comparison and when we tried it, but Resident Evil 4 Remake doesn’t seem to steal its “remake” status. No more ports or HD versions, this fourth episode wants to come back with more of an impression. For better or for worse.
On the one hand, this revisit will be more gory and should give more space to horror, but at the same time, the characteristic action of this component will not be forgotten. It’s even the opposite since Capcom will always divide the players by keeping the entire last part of the game. A portion that continues to be debated within the community. But at least Resident Evil 4 Remake won’t be butchered like the next-gen version of Resident Evil 3 was.
And like Dead Space Remake, some places will be almost “unrecognizable” like Ramon Salazar’s Castle. Capcom has unveiled fresh images of this environment and there is no denying it, it is superb even beyond the simple technical consideration. In Resident Evil 4 Remake, the Castle seems more oppressive with a more subdued atmosphere which should make the monk shooting sequence more interesting. And who knows, with these corners shrouded in darkness, we might manage to lose Ashley so she doesn’t get caught and scream. “Leon, help me!” Pleaaaase! ».
We will be even better aware of the differences with the comparative images:
You can’t save the dog
If you absolutely want to know nothing about Resident Evil 4 Remake and its modifications, we advise you to stop reading here.
Although it was obvious, Capcom has confirmed the return of an iconic character. One of the franchise’s most iconic villains: Albert Wesker. Good news but another change has saddened some players. If you did not know it yet, we regret to inform you that you will not be able to save the dog. When Leon S Kennedy arrives on the scene, the poor pooch will unfortunately be dead.
