The other 90’s slasher
When we think of a slasher movie from the 1990s, the first name that comes up is probably Scream (1996) by Wes Craven. However, we should not forget Remember … last summer (1997), Jim Gillespie’s only notable film. Inspired by the novel Like in a bad dream (1973) directed by Lois Duncan, the film follows a group of young people who, one evening, knocks down a man. Thinking him dead, the four friends decide to throw his body into the sea and promise to never talk about it again. Except that a year later, the man seems to have returned from the dead and he is ready to take revenge …
In the casting of this film, we found rising heads of the time with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze Jr.. Performers who marked this period and participated in making Remember … last summer a cult movie.

It is only in the last seconds that the teaser reveals the real problem, with this message that they receive and announces the danger to come.
In the cast, the replacements of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe are called Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman and Sebastian Amoruso. The show is planned October 15 on the Prime Video streaming service.
