PS Plus: the free games of January 2023 are available, it’s heavy!

As expected, the PS Plus Essential has just put its free games for the month of January 2023 online and it’s very, very good!

After being leaked and then confirmed by Sony, PlayStation Plus Essential games are now available to download at no additional cost to all subscribers to PS Plus Essential or above. And to start the year, Sony saw things big.

For this month of January 2023, no less than 3 big games are offered, and when we say big, it’s in every sense of the word. Not only are two of them AAA, but as a bonus, they weigh a ton. So remember to make room on your PS5 and PS4.

Three huge games to start the year

We will thus find the excellent Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order from Respawn. An action adventure game halfway between souls-like and metroidvania that will keep you spellbound for nearly thirty hours in an unprecedented slice of the universe Star Wars. Its sequel, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, will be available from March 17, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series and pc.

Second AAA offered this month, Fallout 76 cast a real chill when it was released, in particular because of its completely dated technique, its many bugs and its obvious lack of ambition. Despite everything, the game has been supported by many players and by developers dedicated to the task. Result, 4 years after its release, Fallout 76 has become a content-packed multiplayer game that can keep you behind your screen for dozens of hours.

Finally, the last game on the list is none other than Axiom Verge 2, sequel to the hit indie game of the same name. Old school metroidvania made entirely in pixel art, Axiom Verge 2 offers a unique universe and inventive and addictive game mechanics.
