DEAUVILLE FESTIVAL 2021. The Deauville Festival, which celebrates American cinema every year, took place from September 3 to 12, 2021. Program, ticket prices …. All information.

[Mis à jour le 31 août 2021 à 15h01] From September 3 to 12, 2021, the Deauville Festival animated the Normandy coast to the rhythm of American cinema. Many films were to be discovered on the big screen: some already screened at the Cannes Film Festival in July 2021, such as Stillwater with Matt damon, Flag Day by and with Sean Penn or A hero by Asghar Farhadi, when others were unseen for French moviegoers: this is the case of The Card Counter with Oscar Isaac or City of Lies with Johnny Depp.

Celebrities were also in the spotlight at the Deauville Festival: this is the case of Dylan Penn, on the poster for Flag Day directed by his father Sean Penn, but also the director Oliver Stone or the actor Michael Shannon . If it was possible to attend the screenings for the public (for the price of the pass), access to the festival is on compulsory presentation of a valid health pass (full vaccination certificate, PCR test or antigenic negative dating less than 48 hours).

The 47th Deauville Festival took place from September 3 to 12, 2021. The event was focused on three venues in the Normandy city: the Deauville International Center, the Casino and the Morny Cinema.

The Deauville Festival offers many screenings. Around 53 films were presented for official screening, many of which caused a sensation at the Cannes Film Festival. Among them are Stillwater with Matt Damon, La Fracture with Pio Marmaï, Julie in 12 chapters. Were also announced for selection at the Deauville Festival Un fils du Sud by Barry Alexander Brown, City of Lies with Johnny Depp or Kate by Cédric Nicolas-Troyan. Find the agenda and the complete program on the official festival website.

The public of the Deauville Festival can attend the screenings, thanks to different passes. Please note, the health pass is mandatory to access the festival. To book a pass and access the Deauville festival, simply go to the site ticketcid.com, or else to withdraw it the same day. Attention for those who would try this second option, the number of places for each projection is limited. Note that there are also school, works council and association passes, details of which can be found on the official Deauville Festival website.

  • 1 day pass: € 35, € 16 for students under 26 and job seekers. It provides access to more than 10 screenings during the day, with the exception of evening screenings.
  • Festival pass : at 160 €, 110 € for students under 26 and job seekers. This ticket gives access to the screening of all the films of your choice throughout the duration of the event, with the exception of the evening screenings.
  • Brewery Pass : from 99 €. Access to the screening for one evening (called “star” on the festival site) at the CID. After the screening, this pass allows you to enjoy champagne and a “brasserie” dinner in a restaurant in the Normandy town.

To collect or buy tickets on site, simply go to the Deauville International Center (CID) located rue Sem. Pass collection is possible every day from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the CID reception, then from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ticketing / Accreditation reception. Wearing a mask was compulsory everywhere during the festival, even near the red carpet, in the fies of waiting or on the terraces of the festival.
