Oscar-winning director comes to Netflix!
Bardo, the new film by Alejandro G. Inarritu, The first poster and release dates of False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths have been shared. Inarritu, who shot Birdman in 2014 and The Revenant in 2015 and became one of the directors who won Oscars two years in a row with these films, returns with Netflix after a long wait and returns to the country cinema with Bardo.
Bardo will hit theaters across his home country of Mexico on October 27, followed by a limited number of theaters in the United States, Spain and Argentina on November 4. The film, which will continue its vision with a global expansion on November 18, will be on Netflix screens on December 16. There is no clear information about the Turkey screening yet, but a special screening can be arranged as in Rome.
Iñárritu, who previously worked together on “Birdman” and Nicolas Giacobone Written by Bardo, “Bardo” tells the story of a Mexican journalist and documentary filmmaker who returns home and grapples with an existential crisis as he grapples with his identity and family relationships. The deeply personal film was shot in Iñárritu’s hometown of Mexico City. Iñárritu won two Oscars for best director.
