Home cinema blockbusters like “Uncharted” or “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” come across even better. The Sony Bravia KD-43X80K/P is currently on sale at Amazon.
How good is the deal? Amazon is currently offering a 17 percent discount off the RRP. Ultimately, you only pay just under €750 for an outstanding 4K television. The 43-inch variant forms the basic model of the brand new Sony Bravia series. Film and series fans will appreciate the greatest strength of 4K TV. Then the X80K shines above all with its outstanding image quality. Whether HDR or Dolby Vision: all important HDR technologies are supported. These enable greater differences in brightness and a wider color spectrum compared to TVs without HDR.
You only have to make slight compromises with the new Sony Bravia in the case of very dark images and the refresh rate. 50 Hertz are still sufficient. Thanks to Motionflow technology, however, the rate can be scaled up to 240 Hertz.
By the way, the KD-43X80K/P is also interesting for gamers. Because the integrated HDMI 2.1 connection allows you to use everything from your NextGen consoles such as the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series get X out.
When it comes to features, Sony makes almost no compromises with the X80K series. All important connections are present with the exception of a headphone jack. Here you can easily switch to Bluetooth headphones.
The operating system is the Bravia KD-43-X80K/P Android TV, you thus navigates in the Google TV interface. For you, this not only means very smooth handling without long waiting times including Chromecast and Google Assistant voice control.
You can also communicate with your TV via Alexa. All common streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are also pre-installed.
That leaves the sound quality, which is decent for a smart TV but not spectacular. For perfect cinema enjoyment, you will not be able to avoid an additional sound system.
