Last lap for the Peaky Blinders
The Shelby clan are preparing their farewell to the small screen, and all fans will be there to see in the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders the fate reserved for these characters who have become cults. Currently on the airwaves of the BBC with our neighbors across the Channel, season 6 of the series created by Steven Knight had until then no broadcast date for its French audience. But everyone can now take out their diary since we now know when will this last season be available in full on Netflix!
It will therefore be from June 10, 2022, that we can lay our eyes on the last 6 episodes of the series, all made available on this date.
No farewell but a goodbye
With the very first broadcast in France in March 2015, the series Peaky Blinders has entered the closed club of cult contemporary series and is definitely part of the cultural landscape. Thanks to its actors, invested in charismatic and complex characters thanks also to its neat cinematography, it attracted praise from spectators and the specialized press alike.
Led by Cillian Murphy, the cast has always been brilliant, including the main characters of the clan played by Paul Anderson, Joe Cole, or even Annabelle Wallis and the late Helen McCrory, and recurring presences such as those of Tom Hardy since season 2, and Anya Taylor-Joy since season 5.
If season 6 will be the end of a cycle for Thomas Shelby and his loved ones, it is only goodbye. In fact, while it was initially planned that a seventh season would come to conclude the series, its producers changed their strategy to stop the series in its sixth season and immediately switch to the production of a film. In addition to this film, plans for spin-off series have been announced.
