Microsoft fires up with an Xbox conference. The announcements are linked, some having been revealed in advance. And this is for example the case ofOverwatch 2, which will be free from the outset. Explanations.
Overwatch 2 go free-to-play
It’s official, Overwatch 2 will be free-to-play from launch. And precisely, the FPS will launch all its new PvP content from October 4th. A date which concerns all the platforms where the game will be available, namely Xbox SeriesPS5, PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
This PvP experience will include 5v5 combat (compared to 6v6 before) with cross-play and cross-platform progression on the agenda. Several heroes will be reworked, like Orisa and Doomfist who are the ones who have undergone the most changes currently, but also new faces. Starting with a highly anticipated character from the community: Junker Queen. The ruthless queen who leads Jackal and Chopper with an iron fist has also had the right to a small, well-styled presentation video.
However, to find out more about her, seasonal content, and the move to free-to-play fromOverwatch 2and on the next closed beta, Blizzard gives us an appointment on June 16 at 7:00 p.m. in a dedicated presentation.
