


On the official Twitter account of the original anime »Magical Destroyers« (Japanese: »Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers«) was released today announcedthat it will be broadcast on Japanese television over the next year. You can watch a teaser below.

Magical Destroyers is being produced by Hiroshi Ikehata (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) at Studio Bibury Animation. Masao Kawase (»Kiratto Pri☆chan«) will serve as assistant director, while Daishirou Tanimura (»SPY x FAMILY«) will pen the screenplay.
It stars Makoto Furukawa (Saitama in One-Punch Man) as Otaku Hero, Fairouz Ai (Manjirou Sano in Tokyo Revengers) as Anarchy, Aimi (Sherry in Plastic Memories) as Blue, and Tomoyo Kurosawa (Takada in »Jujutsu Kaisen«) as Pink.
The new original anime »Magical Destroyers« is based on an idea by Jun Inagawa, who has already been active as an artist in various fields including fashion and music. He describes his series as a project that he “really wanted to do”.

So far, all that is known is that “Magical Destroyers” is supposed to be about an “otaku hero” and a magical girl. Further details about the plot are still pending at this time.
