Due to the time-limited streaming licenses, Netflix keeps changing its catalog of films and series. On the one hand, that’s a good thing, of course, because there’s always fresh streaming supplies for all subscribers. On the other hand, one or the other pearl flies out of the program. Now it hits one of Quentin Tarantino’s best films, because his masterpiece “Kill Bill Vol.1” will soon disappear from the platform.
You should definitely see this film, because even the DashFUN editors agree on this film and give the revenge actioner a place in several best lists. For those who haven’t seen Quentin Tarantino’s cult film, hurry now, because Martial Arts Fireworks is only available to stream on Netflix until June 21st! Alternatively, the film is of course also available in stores, for example in a double pack with part 2:

At the altar, the former assassin – called “the bride” (Uma Thurman) in the film – is caught up by her dark past, because the killer squad around O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu), Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox), Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah) and Bud (Michael Madsen) storm their wedding on behalf of gangster boss Bill (David Carradine) and massacre the guests. Only the bride survives against all expectations and is badly injured in the bloodbath. And now she has only one thing in mind: revenge.
Quentin Tarantino’s unbridled revenge odyssey offers endless show value and is a deep homage to the Shaw Brothers’ classic martial arts cinema. The director and author mixes spaghetti westerns with elements of martial arts, samurai and blaxpoitation cinema. Anyone who hasn’t seen Uma Thurman make short work of her opponents in her yellow Bruce Lee memorial suit should do so as soon as possible. We give it the full five stars in the official DashFUN review.
