For more than two and a half years, fans of the extraordinary sci-fi series “Undone” have been waiting for supplies. But in April 2022, the time has finally come for Amazon Prime Video. A wacky trailer is now in the mood for season 2.
With “Undone”, the duo Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Kate Purdy behind the Netflix hit “BoJack Horseman” created another animated series highlight in 2019, which, at least in Germany, was completely unfairly under the radar, but clearly for us one of the best series of the year. “Undone” captivates with its unusual yet stunning rotoscope style alone, which goes hand-in-hand with the trippy tale of young Alma’s (Rosa Salazar) quest for the truth about her father’s (Bob Odenkirk) death through various ages and realities.
All the more gratifying that the second season of the Amazon series is finally upon us. And the trailer for the new episodes already promises that the surreal immersion in Alma’s world could be even crazier this time than in the opening season. In any case, after the cliffhanger at the end of Season 1, it turns out that the mysteries in Alma’s family and their past run much deeper than they first appeared.
This time, after some persuasion, Alma can count on more support from her sister Becca (Angelique Cabral) to get to the bottom of the mysteries. Because as the trailer above reveals, she too apparently has the ability to manipulate time and relives old memories…
The second “Undone” season will be released on April 29, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video and again consists of eight half-hour episodes.
