Crazy comedy turned cult, The Blues Brothers brings together Dan Aykroyd and the late John Belushi in a succession of gags and memorable action scenes (including the masterful fall of the Ford Pinto from a helicopter …) punctuated by a soundtrack that turns out to be a tribute to music , mixing blues, rock’n’roll, gospel or even jazz. Celebrities of the genre make their appearance in the film: Aretha Franklin, who sings her hit “Think“, but also Ray Charles and James Brown.

When they were young they shared the same ideals but success converted Castro to pragmatism (or rather cynicism) while Helena stuck to his convictions. Their daughter, Nina, who has written a book loosely based on the life of her parents, joins them.
