The eponymous “Gray Man” is Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), who is recruited from prison by the CIA to do the dirty work for the secret service as hitman Sierra Six. Despite being the best in his field, he himself finds himself in the sights of former CIA enforcer Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), who will stop at nothing to mercilessly take Gentry out of business.
The hunted professional killer uncovers a big conspiracy against himself and has to flee from his own people across Europe. He cannot hope for help from his own ranks. Only the mysterious Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) is still loyal to the fugitive…
Was staged “The Gray Man” by Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors behind various Marvel blockbusters – above all “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame“. As with the MCU hits, the brothers are working with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
