A first making-of of the Star Wars “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series was unveiled by the Disney + platform on the sidelines of the Disney Day event.

Fans who were waiting for the first images of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series were surely disappointed. However, the new original Star Wars production from the Disney Plus platform still unveiled a short making-of involving its lead actor Ewan McGregor and director Deborah Chow.
This featurette of barely a minute has thus confirmed that the protection of young Luke Skywalker by the former Jedi General will serve as a starting point for the plot. A few concept arts have also been revealed, including a scene of a lightsaber fight between Kenobi and his former apprentice Anakin Skywalker, now Darth Vader.
“It is impossible to tell Obi-Wan’s story without involving Anakin” underlined the director, while Ewan McGregor was delighted to have been able to meet Hayden Christensen again during the filming of this series which does not yet have a release date.
