WELL WORTH A LOOK ?
Iconic figure of horror cinema, the vampire is once again brought up to date in Night Teeth, a new horror film available on Netflix. Netflix
Night Teeth’s vampires live among humans and have even made a pact with them, and specifically the Boyle Heigths neighborhood, not to encroach upon this territory or let humanity know that they exist.
But this fragile balance changes when one of the bloodsuckers breaks this pact and wants to control the City of Angels. This betrayal is revealed through the nocturnal misadventure of Benny, a student who plays the chauffeurs for two mysterious women, and who happens to be the brother of the leader of the group that protects mortals from vampires.
Fun, blood but no spice
The taxi ride that turns into a nightmare recalls the plot of Collateral, plus the fantasy. If we get caught up in the game of cat and mouse that takes place in Night Teeth, we easily get lost in the face of the few inconsistencies of the scenario and the lack of depth of the established universe.
Night Teeth is worth especially for its very polished and ambitious aesthetic, with charming visual effects and the chemistry between its main characters, embarked on a road trip of hell quite funny and calibrated in terms of action with effective fight scenes. .

Slightly bloody but not scary at all, this vampire film is nevertheless very entertaining, thanks to good twists, some appreciable diversions of the codes of the genre, a well-felt sarcastic humor and surprisingly endearing characters.
In summary, Night Teeth is a horrific thriller perfect for the cautious who wouldn’t want to risk too much thrill on Halloween night but aren’t against an action-packed, comedic, and quite stylized vampire flick with a few liters of hemoglobin spilled.
