On the official site of the anime series »Cyberpunk: Edgerunners«, which will be shown on Netflix from September 13, 2022, has recently released a new trailer releasedwhich you can check out with a new visual later in this article.

»Cyberpunk: Edgerunners« will be directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (»Star Wars: Visions«) at Studio TRIGGER. Yoshiki Usa and Masahiko Ootsuka are co-writing the script, while You Yoshinari (»Little Witch Academia«) is in charge of character design.
The Japanese voice cast includes Aoi Yuuki (Tanya in »Saga of Tanya the Evil«) as Lucy and KENN (Akihito in »Beyond the Boundary«) in the role of David Martinez, while Hiroki Touchi (Abel in »Trinity Blood «) speaks the character Maine.
The anime is based on the action RPG »Cyberpunk 2077« by the developer CD PROJEKT RED, which was released in December 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, among others. A release for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S|X occurred on February 15, 2022.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells a standalone story about a street kid trying to survive in a future city obsessed with technology and body modification. Because he could lose everything, he decides to become an Edgerunner — a lawless mercenary also known as a cyberpunk.
