After the success of the animated film The Addams Family released in 2019, Morticia, Gomez and their children will be back in theaters on October 13 in a sequel with a new trailer just unveiled.
Absent from cinema and television screens in the 2000s, the Addams family made their comeback in 2019 with an animated film by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan.
Building on the success of this new adventure of the most adorably appalling family in pop culture, a second episode has been commissioned from the duo. It will arrive in theaters on October 13 and is revealed today a little more through new images.
Entitled Une virée d’enfer, this sequel will see Morticia, Gomez, Mercredi (who feels more different than ever from his family), Pugsley (still as mischievous), Uncle Fétide and of course The Thing set off on a road trip through America in a haunted motorhome.
From Niagara Falls to Miami to the Grand Canyon, the Addams family will once again find themselves entangled in completely crazy adventures, made of wacky situations, facing disarmingly naive characters. Family secrets will even come to the surface!
On the vocal casting side, Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz and Snoop Dogg (Cousin Machin) will be back in the original version but not Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) who gives way to Javon “Wanna” Walton in the role of Pugsley . For the French version, Kev Adams and Mélanie Bernier will once again lend their voices to Gomez and Morticia.
Who is behind the voices of family members?
