Shawn Levy sits in the director’s chair of the time travel-themed movie.
The science-fiction movie The Adam Project, directed by director and producer Shawn Levy, who has directed productions such as Stranger Things, Night At The Museum series, tells the story of a pilot who travels through time coming together as his 13-year-old self.
Ryan Reynolds, who starred in the lead, also worked with director Shawn Levy on the movie Free Guy (Real Hero), which was released last year. In addition to Ryan Reynolds, the cast of The Adam Project includes names such as Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener.
The film, whose shooting has been completed and is currently in post-production, is expected to be released on Netflix on March 11, 2022. A trailer for the movie has not been released yet, but the shared photos allow us to take a look at the atmosphere and characters of the movie.
The plot of the movie is briefly as follows: 13-year-old Adam Reed mourns the death of his father, who died suddenly a year ago when he finds an injured pilot hiding in his garage. This mysterious pilot is himself from a future where time travel has just begun and has come back in time, risking everything for a secret mission. The two embark on an adventure into the past together to find their father, fix things and save the world. Both young and adult Adam face the loss of their father and have a chance to heal the wounds that have shaped them. Adding to the difficulty of the mission, the two men discover that they really don’t like each other very much, and in order to save the world, they must first figure out how to get along.
