Independent Japanese artist Gensho Yasuda, who boasts 2.5 million followers on TikTok, has one crowdfunding campaign on his first anime film project »Make A Girl«, which is scheduled to hit Japanese cinemas in summer 2024. We summarize the details.
10 million yen as a goal
The approximately 90-minute film is based on the 3DCG short film »Make Love«, published by Yasuda himself on February 8, 2022. Yasuda will direct and write the screenplay. Yasuda Gensho Studio by Xenotoon is in charge of production.
the crowdfunding campaign runs from August 26, 2022 to October 20, 2022 at 23:59 on the CAMPFIRE platform, Japan’s largest crowdfunding website. The target is 10 million yen (about 72,000 euros). There are also various rewards for supporters.
These include attributions in videos on Yasuda’s TikTok account and in the film, a collection of scripts, storyboards and set materials signed by the director, as well as T-shirts and acrylic paintings redrawn by Yasuda.
