A new month always means new films and series on our streaming services. In this article, we tell you which new titles will be available for subscription to Amazon Prime Video from July 2022 and will therefore be available at no additional cost.
One of the biggest highlights is “Matrix 4: Resurrections”: The sequel to the legendary sci-fi trilogy was only released in cinemas in December 2021 and will also be available in Prime Video subscriptions from July 22nd. Keanu Reeves’ return as Neo may have been a box office flop, but we think Lana Wachowksi’s soulful action-packed film is well-done.
A new original series for action fans starts at the beginning of the month. In “The Terminal List” encounters a Navy SEAL played by “Guardians Of The Galaxy” – and “Jurassic Worldstar Chris Pratt targeted by a conspiracy. Featuring Season 3 of the DC Superhero Series “Doom Patrol”the Kaiju blockbuster Godzilla: King Of The Monstersthe The Hangover Trilogy and the second season of the multi-Emmy-nominated comedy series “The Flight Attendant” with “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco, other well-known US productions are also waiting for you.
Amazon Prime also offers some interesting German newcomers in July: “One Mic Stand” could become some kind of new “LOL”. Because here some well-known comedians gather around an exciting basic idea: Each and every one of them grabs a celebrity without any comedy experience and then has them compete against each other as stand-up comedians – even Health Minister Karl Lauterbach is there! With “Damaged Goods” there is also a new German original series starring Sophie Passmann and Tim Oliver Schultz, among others, “Sweethearts” is a really strong comedy by Karoline Herfurth and the controversial disgusting film “The Golden Glove” by Fatih Akin you better not watch while eating.
