


A few weeks ago we were able to inform you that a new anime series for the manga series »Trigun« is being produced. As part of a panel on the Anime Expo 2022 a trailer has now been released along with new details, which you can watch below.
Anime is created at Studio Orange
Trigun Stampede is being produced under the direction of director Kenji Mutou (Cavity Express) at Studio Orange (Beastars, Land of Jewels), with Kouji Tajima (Modest Heroes) serving as concept designer and design of the characters is responsible.
Starring Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sora in “No Game No Life”) as Vash the Stampede and Junya Ikeda (Jou Kido in “Digimon Adventure”) as Knives Millions, while Maaya Sakamoto (Shiki Ryougi in “The Garden of Sinners«) voices the character Rem Saverem. The anime will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in 2023.
The action manga »Trigun« by Yasuhiro Nightow was published in »Shounen Captain« magazine from April 1995 to January 1997 and published in three volumes in Japan. A first anime adaptation is available in Germany on DVD from peppermint anime and as a stream on Netflix.

Plot:
The gunslinger Vash the Stampede is wanted with a wanted poster and a bounty of 60 million double dollars because he spreads fear and terror. Insurance agents Milly and Meryl are after him to prevent even more damage.
When they meet him, he turns out to be a clumsy philanthropist who doesn’t harm a fly, but carries a dark past with him.
