DashFUN tells you which movies are coming to Netflix in November 2021. Mark your calendars!

THE UNAVOIDABLE

November 3: The Harder They Fall

Idris Elba returns to the western genre by playing the escaped prison gang leader Rufus Buck in Jeymes Samuel’s The Harder They Fall. Facing him, Jonathan Majors encamps the outlaw Nat Love who will mount his horse with his gang to settle his account.

Alongside these two actors, we find Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Delroy Lindo and LaKeith Stanfield. This incredible cast is immersed in a bloody war in the Old West with Tarantinesque flair.

November 12: Red Notice

Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds reunite in Red Notice, a high-powered action movie that promises a twisty investigation and big brawl scenes. The FBI’s top profiler, John Hartley, is forced to team up with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth for a special investigation.

The FBI agent is indeed looking for the most wanted art thief in the world, who calls himself the Bishop and who arouses the interest of Interpol, which has triggered a Red Alert, intended to track down and capture wanted criminals.

HIGHLIGHTS

November 10: Clair-Obscur

Actress Rebecca Hall (Le Prestige, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) embarks on directing with her first feature film titled Clair-Obscur. This drama set in the 1920s in New York tells how a black woman will see her life turned upside down when she reunites with a former childhood friend who masquerades as white.

The cast of this heartbreaking drama includes Tessa Thompson, Ruth Negga, Andre Holland, Bill Camp and Alexander Skarsgård.

November 19: Tick, tick, … boom

A major figure in the new golden age of cinema musicals, Lin-Manuel Miranda offers a new musical whirlwind with Tick, tick… boom! with an eclectic cast: Andrew Garfield, Vanessa Hudgens, Bradley Whitford, Alexandra Shipp and Judith Light.

In this swinging film, a promising young composer, approaching his 30s, juggles love, friendship and the desire to achieve something grand before it’s too late.
