Naveen Andrews has signed on to star in the second season of the Fox series “The Cleaning Lady.” The second season of the drama series begins with Thony (Élodie Yung) desperately trying to find her son Luca (Sebastien and Valentino LeSalle) after he is kidnapped by his father Marco (Ivan Shaw). With nowhere else to go, he enlists the help of FBI Agent Garrett Miller (Oliver Hudson) to find him before they leave the country.
Meanwhile, an incident involving Chris (Sean Lew) forces Fiona (Martha Millan) to protect her son at all costs and brings us to the theme of how far a mother will go to protect her child. Andrews will play Robert Kamdar, Nadia’s (Eva De Dominici) enterprising and charming ex-girlfriend, intent on turning Arman (Adan Canto) and Nadia against each other.
Chelsea Frei and Liza Weilguest are guest stars this season.Also in the second season cast Faith Bryant is also featured. Andrews is no stranger to TV viewers, as he featured prominently on ABC’s hit series “Lost” throughout the show. He earned both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for best supporting actor for his work on the series. Recently, Andrews appeared on Hulu’s miniseries “The DropoutOther television credits include “Instinct,” “Sense8,” and “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.”
Andrews has also appeared in movies such as “Diana”, “Planet Terror”, “The English Patient” and “The Brave One”. “The Cleaning Lady” returns for its second season on September 19. It is based on the Argentine TV series “La chica que limpia”. Miranda Kwok developed the American version of the series and serves as co-showrunner and executive producer along with Melissa Carter. Shay Mitchell, David Dean Portelli, Rose Marie Vega and Paola Suarez are also executive producers.
