Like “Narcos”, the version “Mexico” will also end with season 3. Netflix has just unveiled the very first teaser of this final bouquet and reveals to us, at the same time, the date of the online episodes.
The end is approaching for Narcos: Mexico
Series Narcos stopped after three seasons but her little sister, Mexico, was quick to take over. If we must admit that she did not bring as much satisfaction as her eldest, she was still able to put forward some fine arguments. As its title suggests, it is not in Colombia that the plot is located but in Mexico. It is, however, always a question of drug trafficking.
It all started with the confrontation between DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camerena (Michael Peña) and Miguel Felix Gallardo (Diego Luna), a growing baron. As in the main series, realism mingled with fiction, with an intricate storyline crammed with supporting characters and revelations.
Season 2 then focused on the downfall of Gallardo, with the arrival of Walt Breslin (Scoot McNairy) on the pitch. We will find the latter in the next series of episodes, which will also be the last for Narcos: Mexico. It is impossible to know if the platform will then continue to develop the universe by getting even closer to our time. Maybe the finale will open the door to a sequel, as it did in its day Narcos.
A teaser and a release date for season 3
The platform has just revealed a first teaser for season 3. We find the known faces, whether in the camp of the good and in that of the bad guys. Gallardo is no longer in the game and the big villain should be Amado Carrillo Fuentes (still embodied by José María Yázpik). These images leave no room for doubt, we will be served in terms of action and the preview emanates a tragic breath. In addition to the teaser, Netflix takes the opportunity to announce the date of the episodes uploading: the November 5. Until then, a more substantial trailer will take care of revealing more about the scenario of this last batch.
