After having hit theaters with these first two feature films, My Hero Academia returns to French cinemas from January 6, 2022 with a brand new film called: “World Heroes Mission”.
My Hero Academia is back in force with a new announcement that should delight French fans. A few weeks after the announcement of its release in French cinemas, World Heroes’ Mission finally unveils its release date: see you on January 6, 2022.
A true international phenomenon, and after the undeniable success of its first two parts, there was no doubt that this third My Hero Academia film would land in French cinemas. Francophones will therefore see their patience rewarded five months after the release of the feature film in Japan, which dates back to August 6.
This new section focuses on a mysterious terrorist group called “Humanize” and which firmly believes in the “alter singularity”. Theory that future generations will no longer be able to contain their powers. To prevent this fatality, Humanize therefore plans to “clean up the world” by exterminating all the holders of Quirks. Our apprentice heroes in training from the AU Academy, unite to thwart the efforts of the mysterious group.
Although dewlap, the tale is a continuation of the arc at Endeavor’s Agency and therefore should focus on learning from Midoriya, Bakugo, and Shoto. Rumors also stipulate that the release of this film would be at the origin of the chronological upheaval that occurred in season 5.

Still hosted by Bones studios, Kenji Nagasaki, director of the first two opus, has also taken over the controls of this project. On the screenplay side, Yosuke Kuroda worked under the supervision of manga author Kohei Horikoshi.
