Scheduled for current 2022, season 6 of My Hero Academia continues to unfold through two teaser posters. A first glimpse of the big fight between Midoriya and Shigaraki.
Still in production under the supervision of Bones studios, season 6 of My Hero Academia should arrive on our streaming platforms in the course of the year 2022. While waiting for a more precise date and just to increase the pressure, two first visuals were unveiled this weekend.
As a reminder, My Hero Academia follows the adventures of Izuku Midoriya, a teenager born without power in a world where 70% of the population has it. After inheriting One For All from his idol, All Might, the high school student joined the prestigious Yuei Academy in order to train for the profession of superhero.
Completed on maximum tension, the last seconds of season 5 let us glimpse the long-awaited confrontation between the League of liberation of superpowers and the heroes, professionals as apprentices. A program confirmed by the two teaser posters on which we can read: “The great war is approaching.”
The face to face between Midoriya, successor of All Might, and Shigaraki, heir to All For One, promises to be epic and overwhelming for the future of the series. While the former discovers and learns to master the Quirks of the previous holders of One For All, the latter welcomes the full force of his power after having overcome the principle of the alteric singularity.
Large action scenes and reversals of the situation are therefore to be expected for this sixth season!
To be patient, remember that all the episodes released to date are available on DNA. The third film derived from the World Heroes Mission franchise, meanwhile, has just been announced for a theatrical release in France on a date still unknown.
