Netflix has released the trailer for “Murder Without A Prescription,” a thriller starring Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne about the real killer Charles Edmund Cullen.
Jessica Chastain in the thriller Murder without a prescription
Tobias Lindholm marked the minds of moviegoers with the films Hijacking (2012) or even A War (2015). The director is back but this time on Netflix with Murder without a prescriptiona thriller carried by Jessica Chastain. As we can see in the trailer (in one article), the actress plays a nurse whose life will change when the police question her about suspicious deaths in her hospital. However, she is not the suspect, unlike her colleague Charles Cullen, played by Eddie Redmayne.
She then agrees to help the police corner him to prevent him from continuing in a hospital. Only, it is her own life that she will put in danger by trying to track down this serial killer.

A true story
Murder without a prescription has everything of a well done fiction. Yet the story is sadly taken from a news item. For 16 years, Charles Edmund Cullen murdered several dozen patients while nursing in New Jersey. Although he confessed to the facts after his apprehension on December 15, 2003, it would seem that the number of his victims is in reality much higher, possibly amounting to a few hundred.
A story that should excite Netflix subscribers. It will be interesting to see if the director took certain liberties to provide entertainment, or if he stayed closer to reality. Murder without a prescription will be to discover on netflix October 26.
