The blockbuster “Bergen” is now only on Prime Video!
Having achieved a magnificent box office success by attracting over five million spectators to movie theaters, “Bergen” finally meets the audience in digital. The movie, starring Farah Zeynep Abdullah, is on Amazon Prime Video from 7 October!
Belgin Sarmışer, who used Bergen as her stage name, attracted all the attention with her debut album released in 1982, but in the same year, she lost her right eye due to her husband’s face. Bergen, who used her hair to hide the damage in her eyes, was remembered with this image and was killed by her ex-husband in 1989, when she was just 30 years old.
Sema Kaygusuz and Yıldız Bayazıt wrote the screenplay of the movie, which tells the life of Bergen, which left its mark on the 1980s as the “Woman of Pain”. The film was directed by Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay.
Legendary songs such as “Sen Affetsen Ben Affetmem” and “Destiny Destiny” that Bergen left behind were sung by Farah Zeynep Abdullah in the film. The rich cast of the film also includes important names such as Erdal Beşikçioğlu, Tilbe Saran, Ali Seçkiner Aliciner, Nergis Öztürk, Şebnem Sönmez, Ahmet Kayakesen, Nurcan Eren, Suzan Kardeş and Arif Pişkin. The music bears the signature of master artist Mazlum Çimen.
