Just days after the announcement of his departure, CBS has just revealed the name of the actor who will take the place of Julian McMahon at the head of “Most Wanted Criminals”.
Dylan McDermott, seen in particular in American Horror Story and Hollywood, has been chosen by CBS to play the main role of Most Wanted Criminals, according to information from our colleagues at Deadline.
Dylan McDermott will thus succeed Julian McMahon who announced this weekend his departure from Most Wanted Criminals after only 3 seasons. This will not be the actor’s first foray into the Dick Wolf Universe since he is already in the cast of New York Organized Crime, another creation by the famous producer.
Star of the detective series since its launch in January 2020, Julian McMahon who plays Jess Lacroix, head of the FBI’s special unit assigned to the most extreme cases, will make his last appearance in the episode broadcast in the United States on CBS on March 8, without knowing for the moment the fate that will be reserved for his character.
McDermott is set to make her Most Wanted Criminals debut in Season 3, Episode 17, which airs sometime in April. We don’t have any details yet on what role he will play, but he will be a new character.
