For the past few days, Babeth has been going back and forth to the maternity ward. The nurse, 9 months pregnant, feels that she is about to give birth but Gabriel Riva keeps sending her home. However, in the episode aired this Friday night, it is the right one.
Babeth gives birth to a little Raphael, which will fill her parents with joy. But unfortunately a small problem will stand in their way: they will not leave maternity with the right baby.
At the end of the episode, an unknown young woman enters the nursery with a newborn baby whom she tries to appease. As she places him in a bed, she exchanges this baby’s bracelet with Raphael’s. The babies being all dressed identically, the nurses will not realize this exchange. Just like Babeth and Patrick who will therefore leave the maternity hospital on Monday with a baby who is not theirs.
If the parents are not going to notice this exchange, the baby will not be able to adapt to his new environment at all and will not stop crying, which will create tension in the Nebout couple.
