Laetitia discovers the secret of Fanny’s father
While Vidal wishes to be alone, Fanny stays by his side and seeks to understand why he wanted to hang himself. The doctor confesses to him that his father committed suicide when he was 14, but he says nothing about his illness.
The next day, Vidal allows Fanny to infiltrate the morgue to see her father’s corpse again. He spots marks on the ribs of the skeleton and hypothesizes that he would have been stabbed. Back in the Mistral, Vidal offers Fanny to ask for an autopsy, but she prefers to keep a low profile. They are then interrupted by Jérémy.
For her part, Laetitia asks for Kévin’s help to find out the reason why Fanny’s father was on file. The latter was wanted for having killed an ambassador …
Franck hires Kalya
Delighted to help Kalya, Blanche reminds Franck that the situation will become more complicated with Noah’s return and suggests that she lean on the solidarity of the Mistral. Franck offers Kalya to move to the Celeste at her expense, but she categorically refuses. She explains that she is ready to sleep on a cardboard box as long as she has the money to send it to her family in Mali and provide for their needs. Franck then hires her as a cleaning lady on his construction sites, paying him part of his salary. Blanche notices that they are becoming more and more accomplices. Despite Franck’s denials, she is convinced that he has a crush on Kalya.
Baptiste agrees to join Caesar
Barbara insists on both Caesar and Baptist to get them to put their old quarrels behind them and start a business together. Baptiste, who still doesn’t know how to pay Thérèse’s legal fees, plans to call on Vitreuil. However, this one left on a trip. Baptiste therefore agrees to join Caesar for a trial period of two months, the time to earn the necessary money. While Barbara rejoices at the news, Emma remains suspicious.
