The first episode of “Moon Knight” has been released, now it’s time to wait again. As is usual with Disney Plus, the new episodes appear on a weekly basis. “Moon Knight” episode 2 will be released on April 6, 2022. “Moon Knight” has 6 episodes in total.
“Moon Knight” is the new Marvel series on Disney+ and follows the publication model that has been common with the streaming service since “Loki”: A new episode is released every Wednesday, so it is broadcast every week and not in one go like Netflix. That means: Moon Knight Episode 2 will be released on April 6, 2022, on Disney+probably at 9 a.m.
Moon Knight has six episodes in total. If there is no break and no double episodes in the further broadcast (which is rather unlikely and has never happened before), the following release schedule will result:
- Moon Knight Episode 2 will be released on April 6, 2022
- Moon Knight Episode 3 will be released on April 13, 2022
- Moon Knight Episode 4 will be released on April 20, 2022
- Moon Knight Episode 5 will be released on April 27, 2022
- Moon Knight Episode 6 will be released on May 4th, 2022
And how does it continue?
In the first episode “Moon Knight” we met the museum shop employee Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), who is clearly marked by memory lapses and sleeping problems. In the end, what fans of the “Moon Knight” comics already know will be revealed. Steven shares a body with another personality: Marc Spector, who actually owns the body as well.
We’ve already seen the first four episodes of “Moon Knight”, but of course, we don’t want to anticipate and spoil too much at this point. So just this much:
After several confrontations with villain Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) in episode 1, Steven Grant has to prove himself again in episode 2 against the charming cult leader. This happens in one of the best scenes in Moon Knight, which we also praised extensively in our review of the first four episodes:
And after Marc Spector transformed into superhero Moon Knight at the end of the first episode, there’s a whole lot more superhero action in the next episode. You can also look forward to the first appearance of another facet of Moon Knight’s personality.
