Oscar Isaac joins the MCU thanks to the “Moon Knight” series in which he will play the central role. The actor is illustrated in the first teaser of a few seconds broadcast during Disney + Day. Dark images, which give hope for this program.

Dark Moon Knight invites himself into the MCU

The Marvel Cinematic Universe having already greatly advanced with the first three phases, we will see the arrival in the coming years of characters perhaps less known by the general public. Like Moon Knight, who will be played by the always excellent Oscar Isaac. Originally there is Marc Spector, a mercenary who uses his skills in combat to make money. However, after a betrayal, he is left for dead and is reincarnated as Moon Knight thanks to the Egyptian god Khonshu. He then swears revenge by taking advantage of his new powers. The character is rather dark in the comics, so we are waiting to see how far Disney has agreed to go to respect his universe.

A teaser that sets the mood

On the occasion of the Disney + Day event, a video dealing with the Marvel galaxy was uploaded to the platform. We must obviously stay until the end because we discover the first images of the next creations planned on the small screen. Including a teaser (in one article) of Moon knight which rather makes you want! We obviously discover Oscar Isaac in the role, with a very dark atmosphere and an artistic direction that tries to restore the disturbing aura of the eponymous hero.

For a first glimpse, it seems convincing, especially with this tracking shot during which we catch Moon Knight vehemently beating a person on the ground. If Marvel manages to offer a dark show that is not too watered down, we will have a good surprise.

This first promotional video, however, remains rather mysterious about Moon Knight’s appearance, with shots from afar or framing that prevent him from being seen as a whole. The episodes will be uploaded online in 2022, at a date that has not yet been communicated. A trailer will allow you to see more but very smart is the one who can say when it will be released. After this appetizer, we must admit that we are impatient to discover more.
