We have now become accustomed to following part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen. The Disney+ platform will make it possible in the coming months to introduce new characters, such as Moon Knight, who is revealed today in the first trailer for the series dedicated to him.
Moon Knight : who is this new MCU character?
Not the best known to the general public, Moon Knight is an interesting hero in different aspects. Beneath the suit is Marc Spector, a former military man who decided to become a mercenary. During a mission in a territory near Egypt, he rebels against his leader and is left for dead. It was then that locals seized his remains and saved his life by taking him to an Egyptian tomb. Back among the living, he claims to be connected with Khonsu, the moon god. Driven by a desire for revenge, he develops new powers and a troubled personality. His ultimate goal is to get hold of whoever wanted to kill him and make him pay.
Moon Knight has a dark universe in the print version, which is why we can’t wait to see how the studio has treated the character in the series. Marvel started teasing us with this series last November on Disney+ Day. Unfortunately, at that time, we had only been able to see a few images of Moon Knight. A few weeks later, a trailer has finally come out. The opportunity to finally see more about this program carried by the always excellent Oscar Isaac.
Steven and Marc, two identities for a single hero
With this trailer, we meet Steven, a visibly disturbed man who can no longer tell the difference between his dreams and reality. Taken by visions he does not understand, he seems to be hiding a secret within himself. During a call, a woman tries to bring him to his senses by calling him Marc. Little by little, he will reveal himself and become the Moon Knight. We do not yet understand everything about the scenario but the villain should be Arthur Harrow, played by Ethan Hawke.
In addition to this trailer, Marvel has announced that the broadcast will begin on March 30 on Disney+.
