Notice to fans of “Mom I missed the plane” and LEGO: the brand has announced an ultra detailed set from the house of McAllisters. It will be on sale from November 1st. A great Christmas present for fans of the film.
It’s almost Christmas !
As the end of year holidays approach, the desire to dive back into the world of Mom I missed the plane is felt. Released in 1990, Chris Columbus ‘film took us to the McAllisters’ big house at christmas time. In the rush to leave, the parents forgot about their youngest son, Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin. The latter had to defend his home against two burglars using traps, each more creative than the next. In November, the reboot will also arrive on Disney +.
A treat for Mum fans I missed the plane (and LEGO)
This year, LEGO has decided to spoil fans of Mom I missed the plane by marketing a set of madness. Indeed, the brand with small colored bricks has just unveiled a set incredibly detailed from the McAllisters house. The set is filled with nods to the movie and comes complete with five iconic character mini-figures. We find Kevin, Harry, Marvin, Mr. Marley and Kate, Kevin’s mother.
The set includes several separate rooms across the ground floor, the first floor, the attic, the kitchen and the basement. You can also find the burglar’s “Oh-Kay” van, as well as the tree house, equipped with its zip line.
The level of detail is impressive, and is sure to win over fans of the film. Obviously, all of this comes at a price. The 3,955-piece set (the largest LEGO Ideas set ever to be released) is priced at 249.99 euros. The dimensions are 34 cm x 34 cm x 27 cm. It will be on sale from November 1 on the lego official website and in brand stores.
