Mission Impossible 7: Tom Cruise still risks his life in video

We know that Tom Cruise does all his stunts himself. And for Mission Impossible 7 the actor has once again surpassed himself.

Whether mission impossible 7 Dead Reckoning Part 1 is not scheduled before July 12, 2023, we already have the right to a making-off video of a stunt with the very charismatic Tom Cruise. This surpasses all the others and we already learned in 2021 that it was one of the most impressive “feats of arms” of the actor in the saga and even in his career.

Mission Impossible 7 and the motorcycle jump

This video therefore shows behind the scenes of the stunt considered to be the most dangerous of Tom Cruise’s career. A production person explains:

The two things to avoid in this kind of moment are serious injury and death..

Fun fact, the actor parachuted from a helicopter just to “warm up” in his own words before said scene. The whole thing was shot from the top of a Norwegian cliff. To achieve this technical feat, the actor trained enormously: he notably jumped 500 times by parachute and jumped on a motorcycle from a course created for the occasion 30 times a day, or 13,000 times in all. A real beast, knowing that the man is still 60 years old.

For the record, the filming of Mission Impossible 7 was greatly disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and was initially to be filmed at the same time as episode 8 (part 2).

Director Christopher McQuarrie teased fans by explaining:

The only thing that scares me even more is what we have planned for Mission Impossible 8.

We must therefore expect an even more surprising stunt for the next film.
