Mimie Mathy is still loyal to the post in Josephine Guardian Angel, after more than 20 years playing Joséphine Delamarre. The adventure continues and is renewed on TF1, with many guest on each episode. This time, the most popular guardian angel in France is accompanied by the famous spanish star Victoria Abril, well known for her performances in Pedro Almodóvar films and her role as Caroline in Clem. We find her in the episode entitled, High fashion, aired on September 13. She embodies Cécilia, a fashion designer who is trying to obtain the Haute-Couture label. However, she has Glaucoma. She must undergo the operation at the risk of losing her sight! However, Cécilia refuses the operation. Joséphine will have to surpass herself to understand how Cécilia got into such a situation and convince her to take care of herself.
Mimie Mathy tells us about the shoot and tells us more about her future projects.
How did the shoot go?
Victoria Abril is a very professional person who needs a lot of rehearsal. She is a very creative actress and we got along very well. He really is a great person. I have seen Pedro Almodóvar’s films in which she played and I am also a big fan of French series, including Clem. I was very proud to play with her.
On the set, there was also Stéphane Blancafort whom I already knew. Andy Cocq was a real discovery for me. We got along really well and I think it shows in the film. I also had the joy of playing with Dominique Besnehard who made me happy to come. It was a really, really enjoyable shoot.
Should we expect a lot of comedy in this episode?
There is a bit of everything, as usual. There are a serious subject, with this woman played by Victoria Abril, who was under the dominance of her mother. She will try to break away from it, but will still reproduce the same pattern with her daughter. But of course, there are still moments of fun.

The episode illustrates the world of fashion. Is it a universe that you personally like?
It is a universe that makes many women dream. It is a world apart. I don’t necessarily like it, when you see everything that’s going on, especially with some models who suffer from anorexia. But I understand that this world of glitter can make you dream. We were lucky to have the designer of Miss France dresses who lent us his old creations and these are magnificent dresses.
Series Josephine Guardian Angel has been going on for more than 20 years, is it getting complicated to renew?
I find that is a challenge. For the moment, we have two other episodes that are pending, that we have finished filming. This time, we come back to a subject that we had already covered 24 years ago, that of training on the ice. It’s an episode that I share with Jean-Luc Reichmann. Then for the 100th episode I shot with Michèle Bernier and Isabelle de Botton who embody two grieving grandmothers. So for now, as long as we find ideas and the audience follows, we keep going!
And then, I change universe each time, I also change profession and partners so I do not feel any weariness. We had a lot of guests and we are proud of them! Next time, we hope to bring in George Clooney. (laughs)
You played Pénélope, Lucie’s aunt in Tomorrow is ours. Are you planning to star in the series again?
I don’t know if I’ll be back on the show, as Lucie (Lorie Pester) is on the run, we don’t know if she’ll be back. Corn I would love to participate again. I would also like to make an appearance in the spin-off of the series, Here it all begins. I think these are magnificent series. It’s very well written, it’s captivating for viewers, and more and more of them are watching. So if there is a good idea and a character that can relate to me, I’m up for it!

The Enfoirés show took place without an audience this year. Can we imagine that it was a special experience?
It was very hard to play without the audience, with only the laughs of three friends behind. It is so important to have a full room, it supports us and then it is an important source of income for
