Young Mia once again dives into the refreshing world of Centopia. The trailer shows the first images of the feature film adapted from the “Mia and me” series.
From television to cinema
This summer, the adventures of Mia and me arrive at the cinema. Distributed in France by Alba Movies the animated film Mia and I, the Heroine of Centopia immerses us in an enchanted universe full of colors. Originally, it is a hit TV series that has three seasons totaling 78 episodes.
One fine day, Mia’s aunt gave her niece a book called “The Legend of Centopia” bequeathed by his parents. With this work, she receives a bracelet with the inscription “I am Mia”. Saying these words, the girl teleports to a new world. In the manner of Arthur and the Invisibles, a legend becomes reality for the girl. So, she goes to discover this island. And help the elves to face a terrible danger that threatens Centopia.
From this summer in French theaters
While a fourth season is currently happening, this feature film tells of a new challenge for the heroine. The girl, who has grown up, opens the magic book again. Thus, it takes us to the heart of a long journey. Back in this magical world, Mia recovers her elf wings. This time, she faces a demonic creature named Honor. A magical adventure, where dark magic terrifies the inhabitants of Centopia, and where the island’s only hope is none other than a powerful unicorn.
The television series alternates between live action and animation. Each episode of the television series opens (and ends) with the real world, before delving into the animated universe. For the feature film, it is the same concept as shown in the trailer.
Directed by Adam Gunn, Mia, and I, the Heroine of Centopiaa film aimed at a young audience, was released in French cinemas on July 20, 2022.
