Marvel, Ubisoft, TGS 2022: here is the conference schedule for September

The big conference season is over. The summer was marked by the Summer Game Fest 2022 and then the return to physics at Gamescom. It’s not over yet! September will also be busy, especially with Disney/Marvel’s D23, Tokyo Game Show, Call of Duty Next and Ubisoft Forward. We give you a little planning and a recap of the conferences not to be missed this month, with their dates, times as well as the confirmed and expected games.

The month of September 2022 will be rich in announcements. Between Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage or even Infinity, Marvel adaptations and the entire Tokyo Game Show, there will be plenty to do. Fear Fest: Black Summer 2022 – September 6 at 7 p.m.

The festivities will begin on September 6 at 7 p.m. with a conference reserved for horror game fans. 80 titles will try to make you shiver for more than an hour and there will not only be indies in the lot. Bandai Namco, Bloober Team, NIS America will also be there.

A few games have already been confirmed, including Layers of Fears, The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, Ad Infinitum, Lumencraft and Fort Solis with Troy Baker (The Last of Us Part 1) which was announced at Summer Game Fest 2022. The opportunity therefore to discover the future survival horror of tomorrow through new trailers, gameplay extracts and even developer interviews.

Disney & Marvel Games Showcase – September 9 at 10 p.m.

On September 9, Disney will hold its first conference dedicated to games from its brand and Marvel. However, the focus should be on the adaptations of the famous comic book publisher with some incursions of Star Wars. The panel of titles that could potentially be presented is as long as an arm, but the American giant has already confirmed a few. So there will be Dreamlight Valley on the Disney program, or when Animal Crossing comes to Disneyland, Marvel’s Midnight Suns and LEGO Star Wars : The Skywalker Saga. Crispy still, the Marvel game from Skydance New Media, Amy Hennig’s new studio (Uncharted), will be unveiled for the first time.

As for the contenders, all eyes turn to two rumored EA projects: Black Panther and Iron Man. Some fans are also hoping to hear from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or Marvel’s Wolverine at the conference, but nothing is less certain. The event should still hold a few surprises to mark the occasion.

Ubisoft Forward – September 10 at 9 p.m.

The Ubisoft Forward will be back on September 10 at 9 p.m. The big annual conference will be an opportunity to discover all the next titles from the French publisher, but above all to learn more about the future of Assassin’s Creed. Players are sure to find new information on Skull & Bones, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and the newly announced AC Mirage. There will also be information on future content and seasons of Brawlhalla, For Honor, The Crew 2, Anno 1800 during the pre-show at 8:30 p.m.

Fans can expect to hear news of anticipated titles like Avatar : Frontiers of Pandora, The Division Heartland, Ghost Recon Frontline, Project Q or even XDefiant. Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the service game that should revolutionize the license formula, should also make an appearance.

Call of Duty Next – September 15 TBA

We will continue on September 15 (time not yet determined) with the Call of Duty Next. The event will allow fans to experience the next step for the franchise. On the program, a whole airdrop of new information concerning gameplay, innovations and much more. The opportunity to discover what Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty Warzone 2 and the mobile version of Warzone, known as Project Aurora, will look like.

Let it be said, the focus should first be on the multiplayer of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The publisher still promises some other new information and surprises. It will also be possible to try to obtain an access code to the open beta during the conference.

Tokyo Game Show 2022, September 15-18

The Tokyo Game Show 2022 will open its doors from Thursday September 15 to Sunday September 18, 2022. Unlike other shows of its kind, there will be no big conference beforehand. All will take place via live streams aired during the event. The program is packed, with more than 36 conferences in total. Here is the said program:

The opening day will be marked above all by the conferences of Xbox, Bandai Namco and Capcom. The green brand should give pride of place to the catalog of Japanese games and partnerships, like SEGA and Atlus. For its part, Bandai has already confirmed part of its roster, namely One Piece Odyssey and Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. We also expect to have news about the Tales of series, but also about the Dragon Ball and Gundam games. Capcom will not be outdone and will give a big update on its upcoming games. Information on Exoprimal, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Monster Hunter Sunbreak and Street Fighter 6 is therefore expected.

This second day of TGS 2022 should above all be placed under the sign of SEGA, Square Enix and Konami. The first will mainly show Sonic Frontiers, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown as well as the next-gen and Xbox versions of Persona 5 and others. It is also recalled that the Japanese publisher deals with large Western games on the territory. Ond should also have new Hogwarts Legacy, FIFA 23 or even Gotham Knightsall confirmed for the show.
