In 2021, the Marvel universe extended to the small screen with the release of no less than 5 series on Disney+. Many more are to come, but unfortunately for two of them, fans will apparently have to wait.
After WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…? and Hawkeye which made the heyday of Disney+ last year, several series from the Marvel universe are expected on the platform this year. Starting with Moon Knight, whose trailer recently revealed will debut on March 30th.
After this series worn by Oscar Isaac and the late Gaspard Ulliel, She-Hulk, I Am Groot and Ms. Marvel will land on Disney+ during the year to the delight of MCU fans, always eager to discover new characters from this connected world.
Two notable disappearances
A few weeks ago, the Marvel’s official Japanese site had added two other works to the list of series to be released in 2022: season 2 of What If…? and Secret Invasion, the Skrull series currently filming starring Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders and MCU newcomers Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke.
But these two titles have now disappeared from the list of works expected this year. It will therefore probably be necessary to wait until 2023 to find the Guardian of the multiverse and Nick Fury on the screen. Note, however, that only Moon Knight has a specific release date and that all the other shows could still be moved to the Marvel release schedule.
