Marvel fan rewinds MCU movies in one feature film

The Internet is definitely a repository of amazing finds. Thus, in the category of the most passionate fans of the MCU, we find this Internet user who has decided to bring together in a single film all the feature films from the different phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And the film lasts a long time. Long time.

MCU: your ruthless universe

If today the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is a staple Hollywood franchise in American cinema, it took a while to get it ready. Indeed, it must be remembered that there are still 25 years, the house of Marvel sold the rights of its superheroes to the first studios that wanted them. The X-Men were thus owned by FOX, while Spider-Man was owned by Sony. Under these conditions, it was difficult to create a universe in which most of the characters belonging to the license met. It was thus not until the mid-2000s that Marvel Studios decided to concoct a very ambitious plan with the licenses that remained to it: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America or even the Hulk. Superheroes, who for the most part, had so far only known adaptations forgotten on the big or small screen.

Released in 2008, Iron man is the first MCU movie to draw. The feature film, worn by Robert Downey Jr., is brilliant. He especially unleashes comic book fans during his post-credits scene, during which Nick Fury appears.

Next Disney bought Marvel in 2010 and undertakes an absolutely CRAZY marketing campaign for the company. Marvel Studios takes advantage and continues its plan of messed up crossovers between the films Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, until an absolutely grandiose reunion in the blockbuster Avengers. Subsequently, other solo films appear with Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and even Spiderman which is “on loan” by Sony following a deal. Superheroes who cross paths, confront each other or fight together in a common and chronologically coherent universe. This has been the MCU that has delighted the general public for 13 years now, bringing in billions of dollars to Marvel Studios.

One film to bring them all together

Passionate about MCU films, a fan fell in love. He thus gave himself the challenge of grouping all the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe into one. Duration of the film: 50 hours! We dare not imagine how long it could have taken him.

On the Reddit network, this user known by the pseudonym pizzabryon did a reassembly and even gave it a name: THey Infinite Saga. In chronological order of events unfolding in the MCU, he therefore regrouped the various passages of the films, even managing to add cut scenes and certain alternative scenes. In his post, Pizzabyron also adds that his film works almost like a regular “update” since recently it has included passages from Black widow, released last July. We can bet that he should probably do the same very soon for films like Shang-Chi or The Eternals.

The MCU has not finished having good days, thanks to Internet users as loyal as Pizzabyron. Marvel Studios is giving it back to them since a book titled The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the MCU. Inside the book, we can therefore find the history of the production of the 23 films of the Thanos arc, as well as the interviews of the various writers, producers and stars seen in these feature films. Christmas is coming soon, now you know what to give.
