It had already been hinted at in the last few weeks, and now Disney has finally officially confirmed it for Germany as well: “The Amazing Spider-Man”, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, “Venom”, “Spider-Man”, “Spider-Man 2”, “Spider-Man 3”, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and ” Spider-Man: A New Universe launches soon on Disney+. The exact start dates are:

With “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” the MCU on Disney+ will soon be a little bit more complete. In addition, the other adventures of Spider-Man, Venom and Co. can then also run on the streaming service, where most other Marvel films can already be found.
The reason for this is an agreement between Disney and Sony, which holds the film rights to Spider-Man and the characters associated with it and produces the “Spider-Man” films. Disney had previously brought the Marvel series “Daredevil” that was previously on Netflix to Disney+.
This Disney-Sony deal was closed at the beginning of 2021, but at the time it was still unclear whether it only applied to the USA or also to the rest of the world. Now it’s clear: Marvel fans can also benefit from this in Germany – and there is legitimate hope that the other Sony Marvel films will also be available on Disney + in the foreseeable future.
Even if “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, “Venom 2”, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Morbius“ have not yet been announced for Disney +, it should now only be a matter of time. Fans will probably only have to be patient here until the cinema, home cinema and streaming evaluation from other providers (especially Netflix and Sky/WOW) is through.
The same applies to upcoming Sony films such as “Kraven The Hunter”, “Spider-Man: A New Universe 2” or a possible “Spider-Man 4” with Tom Holland. Because the deal applies explicitly to the Sony archive AND to upcoming Sony films.
