Ready for a while, “The French Dispatch” by Wes Anderson has still not been released in theaters. The director has already moved on and is working on a new top secret project. A beautiful cast is being formed, with in particular Margot Robbie.
Wes Anderson is working on a new movie
It wasn’t until October 27 than The French Dispatch will finally be showing. The film could obviously have been released earlier without the health crisis. Wes Anderson once again brought together a cast of raving lunatics, with stars all over the place. As usual, the director likes to work with big names and this stack of celebrities contributes to the charm of his work. We are therefore waiting for him to surround himself with renowned actors for his next try. For several weeks, the American press has been responsible for informing us that he was actually working on his new creation, without the information being abundant. We can only say that shooting will begin later this August in Spain. For the rest, the title is a mystery, just like the script.
Margot Robbie goes on
However, we keep learning more about the casting. The Hollywood Reporter has just revealed that Margot Robbie was hired to take on one of the roles. The actress is currently playing at The Suicide Squad and has an already full agenda. She is involved on Babylon, the next feature film by Damien Chazelle with Brad Pitt, on the new David O. Russell and on the strange project Barbie by Greta Gerwig. At only 31 years old, Margot Robbie is forging a very serious filmography. We remind you that she has already had the chance to tour with Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese.
At Wes Anderson, she will play alongside regulars of the house (Adrien Brody, Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton) and – more surprisingly – of Tom Hanks. With these names, we can see very clearly that the director does not intend to change his habits and it is not to displease us. With a shooting very soon for this new film, we can expect a release in 2022 and even a visit to Cannes or another major festival.
