The “Manipulations” mini-series, with Marine Delterme and Marc Ruchmann, ends this evening on France 2. Next Monday, the channel will broadcast the new TV movie “Les Particules Elementaires”, adapted from the novel by Michel Houellebecq.
Broadcast every Monday on France 2 since the beginning of January, the series Manipulations, carried by Marine Delterme and Marc Ruchmann (Heart plan), ends this evening with the broadcast of the last two episodes which promise a breathtaking end to the season and full of twists.
Mini-series requires, Manipulations will not have a sequel since the plot is completed at the end of the six episodes that make up this first and only season. But fans of Marine Delterme will be able to find her on February 10 on TF1 in the highly anticipated finale of Alice Nevers, which will see Alice and Marquand start a new life far from Paris and prepare for their wedding while trying to solve the murder of a young jockey.
Elementary Particles succeed Manipulations
On the side of France 2, it is the new television film in two parts Les Particules élementaires, adapted from the novel by Michel Houellebecq, which will take the place of Manupulations and will thus be broadcast next Monday at 9:10 p.m.
Directed by Antoine Garceau (Ten percent) and written by Gilles Taurand (Farewell to the Queen, Repairing the Living) based on the bestseller published in 1998, Elementary Particles began in 2009, when Michel Djerzinski, a genius researcher specializing in molecular biology, mysteriously disappears in Ireland. His latest discoveries would have paved the way for a major upheaval in the history of human genetics.
It is then the occasion of a dizzying plunge in time where we will discover his half-brother Bruno, a tortured pleasure seeker who will meet love in a post-68 campsite, Janine, the mother of Bruno and Michel, a former hippie who has always refused to raise her children in a conventional way, and Annabelle, whom Michel will fall in love with as a child.
Inevitably disconcerting and original in content as in form, Les Particules elementaires will also be able to count on a cast of choice to convince viewers since the brothers Michel Djerzinski and Bruno Clément will be played by Jean-Charles Clichet (Mytho, Une Belle histoire) and Guillaume Gouix (A French Affair, The Returned).
While Pascale Arbillot (Miss), Déborah François (The school of life), Michel Vuillermoz (UFO(s)), Liliane Rovère (Ten percent), Patrick Mille (They were ten), Marie Denarnaud (HPI), and Florence Coste (Here it all begins) complete the cast.
See you on January 31 at 9:10 p.m. on France 2 to discover the adaptation in two 60-minute episodes of Elementary Particles.
