Almost thirty years after the release of the cult comedy “Madame Doubtfire” with Robin Williams, the three actors who played the children of the film found themselves at a convention. And of course, they have changed a lot!
Madame Doubtfire: 28 years already!
Released in French theaters on February 9, 1994, Mrs. Doubtfire by Chris Columbus is the height of comedy. The late Robin Williams played the role of Daniel Hillard, a distraught man following his divorce, who was no longer allowed to see his three children. He then devised a trick to see them every day: disguise himself as a respectable Irish governess.
The rest of the cast included Sally Field as his ex-wife, Miranda, and Pierce Brosnan as Miranda’s new boyfriend, Stuart. The three children were camped by Lisa Jakub (Lydia), Matthew Lawrence (Chris), and Mara Wilson (Natalie).
The children reunite!
On the occasion of the first convention dedicated to the flagship programs of the 90s set in Connecticut, the three actors who played the Hillard children in Mrs. Doubtfire have found each other. And of course, they have changed
During this convention, they also participated in a Photo shooting organized by EW which celebrates the faces that marked the 90s.

What do they become?
Lisa Jakub hasn’t toured since the early 2000s. Despite the fact that she had several roles to express herself, her activity stopped quite abruptly. Before this was the case, we could see it in independence day, where she camped one of Troy’s children (the loudmouth pilot who sacrifices himself by entering the ship with his missile jammed). According to his account Instagram, she withdrew from the medium by choice and embarked on another path. We discover her as an author, presenter of a podcast, and life coach. She is very interested in yoga, the issue of anxiety, and self-acceptance.
The other girl of the trio, Mara Wilson, continued as an actress, whether in cinema, on television or on the boards. Just after Mrs. Doubtfireit turns suddenly Miracle on the 34and Street, Matilda, and The Fairy War. If it disappears from the radars of the general public, we could hear it in the series BoJack Horseman, where she voiced Jill Pill. But acting no longer interests her too much and she begins a conversion into writing, with her book Where Am I Now? : True Stories of Girlhood and Accidental Fame which serves as an outlet for him to talk about his delicate childhood – and especially his rise to stardom at such a young age.
Now let’s come to Matthew Lawrence, who is the only one still playing today. He did not become a star but toured quite regularly, for the cinema or television. Recently seen in Riley’s World, Hawaii 5-0 Where CSI: Miamihe never found a popular role worthy of the one he had in Mrs. Doubtfire. Along with his two brothers, he also continues to operate in the world of music. You can find it on his Instagram account where he is followed by more than 200,000 people.
