Fans of “Mad Max: Fury Road”, it’s time to heat up the credit card. The Warner has just put 13 vehicles from George Miller’s film up for auction, enough to make the engines roar!
Mad Max – Fury Road : huge slap!
In 2015, George Miller, the director of the first three films Mad Max, decides to return to his favorite franchise by offering a fourth part, more than thirty years after the release of Mad Max beyond the dome of thunder. For the occasion, he hires the inimitable Tom Hardy to take over the role of Max, originally owned by Mel Gibson. The rest of the cast includes Zoë Kravitz, Nicholas Hoult and especially Charlize Theron who made a big impression as Furiosa.
Mad Max: Fury Road has met with gargantuan success. Fans and the trade press alike welcomed George Miller’s new proposal with open arms. The feature film has been nominated ten times at the Oscars (including Best Film and Best Director) and walked away with the statuettes for Best Set, Best Costume, Best Make-up, Best Sound, Best Editing and Best Sound Editing. On the box office side, Mad Max: Fury Road reported more than $ 375 million in revenue (for a budget of 150 million). Logically, George Miller should offer sequels to his work, and including a spin-off on the character of Furiosa.
